Starting the day off with the boys getting ready at their home.
I find more couples have wanted their photos before the ceremony. It can be incredibly romantic, intimate and relaxing. There is still so much excitement left waiting for everyone when the moment comes to walk down the Isle. Leaving this first look for just the two of you can give you a time together to connect and ground. It also means you can join the party right away after the ceremony and allows me to do more candid photography.
Nick and Emily live on Toynbee *half way up the mountain, so the natural choice for photos was Mt Maxwell. The weather was clearing and the excitement was building up to the first moment they encountered, all ready to become husband + wife. I took them to one of my very favorite locations on the mountainside in the forest. Such a stunning place to be with them for this part of the day.
