Alanda and Dom are Saltspring locals and chose the pastoral Duck Creek Farm for their wedding.The venue is close to the Vesuvius Ferry offering easy commute for any off island guests. Duck Creek farm has been touted as one of the best places on the island for events, not only for the stunning atmosphere, but for the ease of the caterer's and rental shops to access the grounds. A sound stage for live music also adds to a picture perfect wedding.
Alanda chose a simple bohemian feel for the ceremony. The fall colour palette for her wedding decor and bridal party were a perfect contrast to the surrounding scenery. The ceremony was small, intimate and full of love.
